The sheriff’s office said multiple units, including a drone team, took part in the search for the boy. They worked in collaboration with personnel from the FWC, the North Bay Fire Department, U.S. Fish & Wildlife and Eglin Air Force Base.

In its announcement about the boy’s discovery, the FWC recalled the first question that Grayson asked after being found: “Do you have any food?”
