Even Shift Up hasn’t showcased it in the features trailer either, but we PC gamers, through and through, know what this magic feature is. Deep down, everyone knows this one feature is all that the game needed. Yes, you’re on the right track; it’s mods.

We PC gamers will finally get to enjoy Stellar Blade on June 11, 2025. The experience that we’ll have will surely surpass the base release, for all the honey-drenched mods. The age-old tradition of modding on PC is one advantage no one can surpass. Deal with it, PS5 fans!

The mod support for Stellar Blade might single-handedly skyrocket the game’s success to the next level. We already know, Shift Up gave hefty bonuses to their employees for the success it had on the PlayStation platform. Imagine getting a free PS5 console alongside a lump sum amount of money.

With the PC release of the game, there’s not a hint of doubt that it would be a ******* launch. But will mods work on the Denuvo-protected Stellar Blade? Well, yes! It was stated by developers, mods will work on Stellar Blade despite being Denuvo-protected. That’s a huge W for us PC gamers.

Even though many companies are against modding, that one feature often makes or breaks a franchise. Take a look at Space Marine 2, for instance; the addition of mod support is gaining them a lot of traction. Even Team Fortress 2, which is technically abandoned by Valve.

Even though Stellar Blade hasn’t been officially released on the PC platform, it hasn’t stopped modders from doing their task, and as expected, some pretty, let’s say, “interesting” mods have already surfaced on the internet.

You might wonder, how did modders create a mod for an unreleased game? Well, they just took the files from the Stellar Blade Demo release and worked wonders like it’s another Tuesday. Needless to say, some have had a field day with the NSFW stuff.

To tickle your humor, there’s also a mod that replaces Eve with gender-bent Goro Majima (Goromi) from the Yakuza franchise. The game isn’t even out yet, but we’ve already gotten a glimpse of what’s coming ahead. With such an active modding base already, the game is sure to reach new heights.
