While Elden Ring Nightreign does not offer the traditional way of building your own character from the ground up, it offers 8 different classes of warriors, also called the Nightfarers, to choose from and fight as. All of these warriors come with a pre-defined character set, stats, and weapons which you can then choose from according to whichever fits your playstyle the best.

Moreover, if in any case you are the kind of player who likes to take a step back and play from a distance, then Ironeye and Recluse are going to be the two Nightfarers you make use of the most. Out of the 8 Nightfarers made available to the player, Ironeye has one of the more traditional skill sets and arsenals. Making use of his bow and arrows, this warrior maintains his distance and deals damage like a sniper from afar.

While his passive ability increases item drops from enemies, his character skill allows him to create a mark on the enemy and make a weak point. His ultimate skill, called Single Shot, is one of the most powerful ultimates in the whole game, allowing him to shoot an arrow that deals extreme damage and goes through anyone and anything. Her character skill, Magic *********, employs a similar mechanic, where she collects residues from enemies, which she then mixes together to fire a magic *********. Her ultimate art, however, is more on the passive side, as it makes use of a blood chant which marks enemies and allows allies to heal from any damage they heal from.

While both of the warriors come with their own list of pros and cons, Ironeye seems to be the one long-range Nightreign players should go with in case they wanna deal damage from a distance and still be effective. It’s also important to note how this is subjective, and for players who might be more experienced with mage builds, they can potentially make more effective use of Recluse for themselves.

Another factor to keep in mind is how Ironeye is more of a straight-shot Nightwarrior with a simple skill set, which also makes him a better fit for beginners, in contrast to Recluse, which requires you to put in more hours in order to master her.
