Split Fiction’s story focuses on two writers–Mio and Zoe–who fall into a simulation based on a technology company that uses AI to take their ideas. The game plays out throughout a variety of fantastical settings and scenarios. Sweeney is reportedly being eyed to play one of the authors.

Split Fiction was developed by Hazelight and directed by Josef Fares. The game has sold nearly 4 million copies, according to publisher Electronic Arts. Hazelight is now making a new game, and Fares is feeling confident about it.

Fares has directed four games so far, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons for Starbreeze and then A Way Out, It Takes Two, and Split Fiction with his own studio, Hazelight. It Takes Two has been the biggest success of the bunch, selling
