While players cruise around the galaxy and explore the thousands of largely barren planets on offer, Starfield's story will undoubtedly drive them toward several major areas of human existence: New Atlantis, Akila City, Neon, and The Key. Outside of these locales, most of the other settlements are small hamlets constructed on planets that don't have an atmosphere that could sustain a society.
