On May 31, 2025, at 3:00 a.m., officers responded to a shooting at Food Mart located at 2456 Chelsea Avenue. A male victim was struck and taken to the hospital in non-critical condition. Police said surveillance footage captured a silver sedan, possibly a Ford Fusion, with heavy damage on the passenger side pulling into the business parking lot.
