The Department of Fire and Emergency Services received a triple-0 call with reports of a fire in a storage unit building in O’Connor about 9.15am. The fire was put out before 10am. According to DFES, the fire was contained to one unit but smoked filled the three floors of the building. St John WA confirmed it transported one woman in her 40s to Fiona Stanley Hospital under normal road conditions. A police spokesperson said the circumstances surrounding the blaze remained unknown.
