RAC rescue helicopter called to help injured hiker at popular Naturaliste surf break

The RAC Rescue helicopter has been sent to collect an injured hiker stuck near a popular surf break in the South West.

Emergency services received a report that a man had hurt himself at the Little Rockies Surf Break in Naturaliste just before 1.20pm on Saturday.

A St John ambulance crew and two SES crews from Busselton are already at the scene and have been assisting the man in his 50s.

It is understood the man is conscious but his injuries are unknown at this stage.

The RAC rescue helicopter will airlift the man to hospital.
