and fans had been clamoring for more, so it’s not a huge surprise to see Nightreign get off to a solid start. An Elden Ring movie from Alex Garland is in the works, with an actor from Warfare reportedly set for a main role.

GameSpot’s Elden Ring Nightreign review scored the game a 9/10, with reviewer Richard Wakeling writing, “Elden Ring Nightreign successfully condenses the Elden Ring experience, cramming challenging combat, exploration, worldbuilding, and character development into a fast-paced and thrilling multiplayer game.”

Some have taken issue with how Nightreign does not support two-player co-op, but instead is playable solo or with groups of three. Two-player co-op was overlooked in development, and From Software apologized; it could come to the game in a post-launch update.
