Barstow burglary investigation leads to massive arsenal of guns, explosives in San Dimas

An investigation into a recent vehicle burglary in Barstow led detectives to discover a massive arsenal of weaponry at a San Dimas home, including assault assault rifles, military-grade explosives and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, officials said.

The bust took place as Barstow police detectives were following up on a vehicle burglary that took place on Sunday in the 2500 block of High Point Way in Barstow. Roughly $10,000 worth of valuables were stolen in the car break-in.

Detectives seized a massive cache of weapons, which included assault rifles, military-grade explosives and a rocket-propelled grenade launcher, from a San Dimas home on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, while investigating a burglary in Barstow, officials said.

The investigation soon led detectives to the home in San Dimas, in Los Angeles County, where they arrived with a search warrant on Wednesday night.

Craig Karim Ramazan, 49, of San Dimas was taken into custody during the raid, according to police and San Bernardino County booking records.

He was booked on suspicion of ******** possession of an assault weapon, possession of a destructive device and possession of a stolen vehicle.

Ramazan was released from custody pending legal proceedings hours later after posting bail, records show.

“Due to the presence of ******** firearms and the rocket propelled grenade launcher, the California Department of Justice Bureau of Firearms was contacted and responded to assist with the investigation,” the police statement added.
