Puella Magi Madoka Magica Magia Exedra to introduce Scene 0 celebratory event

• Magia Exedra is introducing a new Scene 0 celebratory event
• It covers a new side-story made to mark 10 years of Madoka Magica
• The event also sees Chaos Mode being introduced and a new five-star Kioku

It wasn’t too long ago that Puella Magi Madoka Magica could have been considered the golden child of the magical girl genre. Madoka offered a surprisingly cerebral take on the idea of young people being gifted with extraordinary powers. It’s little surprise, then, that Magia Exedra is promoting a brand new event to mark 10 years of the series.

Named Scene 0, this project is made to mark that milestone occasion and is a side-story of its own. In Magia Exedra, this will be marked by a three-part limited-time event, the first part of which is going live on May 30th (this Friday!)

The event will see a new five-star Kioku [Hollow Woman] Mabayu Aki, who stars as the main character of this part of the side-story. As a student at Mitakihara Middle School, she finds that time is freezing for everyone but her and is brought into contact with Madoka herself to figure out why.

It’s a kind of magic(al girl)

The event will also include rewards such as the portrait Granting Impossible Miracles, Magica stones and other items. But there’s a whole lot more to experience than just this side story, what with the upcoming introduction of Chaos Mode.

As you might expect from the name, Chaos Mode introduces a whole new dimension of difficulty for you to contend with. Consisting entirely of boss battles with witches and rumours, this is not a challenge for the faint of heart, but it does offer some top rewards, including honorary titles for clearing out those bosses.
