Doreen Waideman, who is 85 years old, plays the game with friends Kaye Edwards, 85, Helen Court, 79, and Karen Church, 76, every Tuesday. The quartet take to the court at Edwards’ home for a two-and-a-half hour hit-out. Waideman said playing tennis helped her maintain an active lifestyle and stay connected to her friends. “Not only does tennis keep me fit, but it’s a lot of fun,” she said. “It’s a great hobby and one that I am glad I can still share with Helen, Kaye and Karen.” BaptistCare lifestyle coordinator Danni Roberts said Waideman was “a great example of doing what you love regardless of your age.” This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up #Manjimup #greatgrandmother #Doreen #Waideman #continues #tennis #tradition #moving This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up 0 Quote Link to comment https://hopzone.eu/forums/topic/261087-manjimup-great-grandmother-doreen-waideman-continues-tennis-tradition-despite-moving-into/ Share on other sites
