From that point, Team Vitality made a solid comeback and took Map 1 with a final score of 13-11, humbling MOUZ with their unity. That one specific comeback hurt MOUZ’s morale, as they weren’t able to win a single map afterwards.

Even though the final only claims the winner through best of five maps, Vitality didn’t leave a single crumb for MOUZ. After their win on Dust 2, they consecutively took the next two maps: Mirage and Inferno. MOUZ was stuck in such a deadlock, they couldn’t reach a two-digit score later. Yes, for Mirage, the score was 13-9, and Inferno was secured with 13-8.

Sweeping the Grand Finals of IEM Dallas 2025 with a hot streak. Not only that, they’ve also been on a win streak through IEM 2025 so far, three in a row to be precise. This achievement will be remembered in esports history just like Counter-Strike 2 is doing now for being one of the longest-standing live-service games.

While it is known Team Vitality has been owning IEM 2025, with their Counter-Strike 2 win streaks, there’s another thing that makes this victory special. In Dallas, Texas, the European stronghold has achieved a trifecta, as they’ve won three tournaments there within a few-year span.

Vitality held the champion title at IEM Dallas in 2022, 2024, and 2025, establishing its dominance at the location. This could’ve been the team’s consecutive win; alas, ENCE took the IEM 2023 champion title by winning against MOUZ. Still, it doesn’t matter, as Vitality can try for perfection next year. Maybe Counter-Strike 2 should try for the same as well.
