Rainbow Six Siege X was supposed to set up the next ten years for the game, right? Then why are complaints coming in from creators already, who are on the test server? No, don’t give the excuse that test servers are supposed to be like that. It’s a good thing to release a test build to players who want to play the season early and help you fix bugs. But this has been a common story for every Siege update. Ubisoft makes something great only to break something else. Operation Health was probably the season with the fewest issues. Can you do the same all across? Rainbow Six Siege X test server has pointed out an audio bug, and it isn’t interesting This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up ? | Image Credit: Ubisoft Ubisoft isn’t new to finding itself in trouble recently; however, should this narrative go on forever? Come on, from misinterpreted trailers during E3 to now, things haven’t quite changed. Now that Ubisoft is at a threat of going bankrupt, can they just do one thing right? Rainbow Six Siege X will be a free-to-play game starting June 10, 2025, and hopes are high. There have been showcases of good upcoming content for the game. However, none of that matters if the game is unplayable. You’ll lose players before even attracting them. Moreover, there are already many free-to-play games that are just doing better. Why should they try your game? Thanks to Siege content creator VarsityGaming, the newest bug drop for Rainbow Six Siege X came to life. It wasn’t surprising, as it was very much expected by a long-standing player. As matter of fact Varsity is almost unfazed by it, but it kept poking. VarsityGaming was invited to the Rainbow Six Siege X Year 10 showcase to try out the game. He mentioned that the test build of the game sounds way different. To his complaint, the game sounds a lot muffled, and sometimes, the sound does not even reach his ears. This is the hidden content, please Sign In or Sign Up /applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"> The reworked sound system was one of the biggest showcases for the upcoming title. However, if that doesn’t function as intended, Ubisoft faces a huge problem. First-person shooters are very much dependent on sound cues; if a single piece of information is missed, it could have massive consequences. What makes it worse? It isn’t even the player’s mistake; it’s the game’s mistake. Rainbow Six Siege X follows the same rituals as its predecessor Rainbow Six Siege had many issues, and sound was one of them. Players have been seeking a fix for a long time, which is finally arriving ten years later. Players were excited about this new, reworked sound system, yet it still doesn’t work. For long-time Siege players, this isn’t shocking news. However, if new players start complaining about these audio issues, Ubisoft should listen for good. If a free-to-play game is simply bad, no one would be playing it, so all the effort they’ve put in will go down the drain completely. The worst thing about the development team behind Rainbow Six Siege is that they’ve always been slow. They take months or even seasons to fix something, and sometimes, during this process, they break another thing that wasn’t intended. The developers might be potent. However, their lack of efficiency and quality is what brings them down. Do you think Rainbow Six Siege X will have it all figured out once it releases?
