(WKRN) — A traffic stop in Chattanooga Friday resulted in the arrests of three suspects in Middle Tennessee burglaries, authorities said. A joint investigation with the Metro Nashville Police Department and other law enforcement agencies led to the identification of suspects associated with the incidents. Three men inside the vehicle allegedly provided false Peruvian identification to the trooper. A search of the vehicle reportedly led to the discovery of burglary tools and clothing consistent with a Brentwood burglary and recent burglary attempts in Brentwood and Nashville, as well as suspected stolen jewelry. Additionally, authorities said the men were in possession of Rolex watches that were stolen from a Missouri home. Law enforcement identified the men as Genaro Arturo Arenas Jara, Nicholas Maximiliano Martinez Hidalgo, and Valentino Amaro Bouffanais — all of Chile. Police said all three men are wanted for crimes related to 2023 residential burglaries in California.
