Erie County restaurant inspections for May 14-21, 2025

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded May 14-21.

Two critical violations

East Avenue Speed Check, 1001 East Ave. (Multiple ***** of milk found in cooler that were past sell-by date; Items in cooler with missing door found at 54 degrees.) May 21

One critical violation

Bro Mann’s Sammiches, 8228 Peach St., Summit Township. (Food facility does not employ a food safety certified employee as required.) Also one noncritical violation.

Hibachi Japanese Steak House, 3000 W. 12th St., Millcreek Township. (Cooler found at 47 degrees was at 37 degrees by end of the inspection.) May 20

Sullivan’s Pub & Eatery, 301 French St. (Cooler in kitchen found at 47 degrees. Contents discarded.) May 20

Haborcreek Marketplace, 6992 Buffalo Road, Harborcreek Township. (Found 9 gallons and 1 half-gallon expired milk.) May 16

Comfort Inn, 3041 W. 12th St. Millcreek Township. (Food facility does not employ a food safety certified employee as required.) May 16
