That’s a monumental offering and it comes at the perfect time, given that Fallout is one of the most talked-about topics in the world right now. Fallout 3 was the entry point into the legendary post-apocalyptic RPG series for many gamers. It was released by Bethesda Game Studios in 2008, ushering in a new generation of the series that took the existing formula and completely did away with it. It angered ****-hard fans of the series, but it was a move that pushed Fallout into the mainstream market and made it much more accessible.

Fallout 3 is, by numbers, the highest-rated Fallout game ever made. It’s my personal favourite and it’s where I recommend people introduce themselves to the series. It might be showing its age a little by now, but it’s still a fantastic game with plenty of replay value.
