Emergency services rushing to boat in trouble at Butlers Reef near Alkimos Beach

A boat has struck Butlers Reef near Alkimos Beach and is reportedly taking on water.

Emergency authorities put out a “pan-pan” call for the boat just before 4.30pm on Thursday.

A pan-pan call is used when there is an urgent need for help but no immediate threat to life.
