Splitgate 2 open beta for a while. Set to stay live until it fully launches in the summer, it's an endless opportunity to play my most anticipated new FPS game, and now it's finally here. Imagine my disappointment, then, when I awoke this morning to find its servers offline - and they've remained that way the entire day. While some players have had a fairly smooth experience, there've been some widespread issues with cosmetic items not showing and general server instability. After hours of downtime, 1047 Game's CEO has apologized for the bumpy start to the open beta, promising that the studio is "working around the clock" to get things up and running again.
