The exec addressed it, first by thanking the people giving him a chuckle before pulling things back and addressing that it wasn’t his intent before once again swinging around to proclaim Borderlands 4 to be on track to be the best entry ever.

Of course, he is ensuring people know that wherever the price falls, it’s still out of his control, but promises it will be worth whatever price tag Gearbox slaps on it.

Borderlands 4 releases September 12 on the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. A Switch 2 port is also releasing at a later date.
