Twelve injured in knife attack at Hamburg train station

Twelve people have been injured in a knife attack at the main railway station in the ******* city of Hamburg, local media is reporting.

Local media reports say three of the victims are in critical condition, with three others seriously injured.

Police say they have arrested a suspect and a major operation is under way.

The attack is understood to have happened at Hamburg’s Central Station at around 18:00 local time (17:00 BST) on Friday.
