The skin is inspired by the version of Invisible Woman created by comic book artist Peach Momoko in the Ultimate X-Men comic book series. Momoko calls her work Momoko-verse as it reimagines Marvel superheroes within the framework of Japanese folktales.

In 2024, Momoko won the Eisner Award for Best Cover Artist for a cover in a series, ****** Wars: Scarlet Sin, and for various alternate covers of other Marvel works. Clearly, Momoko has a lot of fans around the world, so now is probably the best time to introduce the Invisible Woman skin designed by her.

There is a possibility that players get to see more of Momoko’s work in the game as the Yatsukahagi skin for Peni Parker and a skin for Punisher called Dangan Ronin, both designed by Momoko, were added to the game recently.
