It’s no secret that Helldivers 2 has had its ups and downs, from requiring PSN to play the game on PC (which has since been thrown into the bin) to winning awards (such as Best Multiplayer). Even so, Arrowhead CCO Johan Pilestedt has shared about how many players continue to play it on a weekly basis.

, Pilestedt shared about 2.5 million players play every week and that he’s excited to see what sort of spike they’ll get with the Heart of Democracy patch, which adds new weapons, enemies, and customizations.

Around 2.5 million Helldivers playing the game every week, super excited to see how many more log in with this update!
