Phasing out Russian energy imports

In the early evening, MEPs, Commissioner Dan Jørgensen and Polish Minister Adam Szłapka will debate the phase-out of Russian gas, nuclear energy and oil imports, as well as Nord Stream and EU energy sovereignty. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022, Parliament has called repeatedly for an end to Russian energy imports.

New single market strategy. From around 17:15, Commission Executive Vice-President Stéphane Séjourné will present the new single market strategy in plenary, following its adoption by the College of Commissioners the same day.
