There’s no denying that Elder Scrolls 6 is one of the most anticipated RPGs of the decade. However, it’s been a rough journey for the game’s fans, as it hasn’t received an update since its brief teaser at E3 2018, almost seven years ago.

As you’d expect, the Elder Scrolls fandom has absolutely loved this map and believes that it would be a mistake for Howard and his team not to honor the creator in Elder Scrolls 6. Seriously, even though Bethesda hasn’t revealed anything about the next entry, fans are still showing their love for the games that are already out and patiently waiting.

Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion Remastered has proven to be a huge success for Bethesda. Gamers are often sick and tired of waiting for remakes, but Bethesda’s release strategy caught everyone by surprise. We all knew that the game was coming, but with a same-day release, players were filled with joy.

Bethesda proved that traditional marketing strategies can be ignored in the modern-day gaming landscape. Even beloved franchises such as Elder Scrolls don’t need to launch a prolonged marketing campaign to generate hype and success. As long as the game is quality, players will jump into it.

As we’ve already stated, Elder Scrolls 6 was revealed seven years ago. Bethesda and Howard have remained silent about the project, which has only angered fans. With the game currently in production, it’s fair to say that it’s still years away from release.

However, a shadow drop for Elder Scrolls 6 would be the perfect way to earn all the trust Bethesda has lost. As proven by Oblivion Remastered, surprise-releasing games don’t hurt sales. Just imagine being able to play Elder Scrolls 6 right after its first reveal.
