Fishing Clash kicks off virtual event alongside Major League Fishing competition, with IRL rewards

Ten Square Games has announced a new event for Fishing Clash players, inviting you to cast those lures to reel in IRL rewards alongside the Major League Fishing (MLF).

Besides the prestige that comes from cooperation with the world’s largest professional tournament fishing organisation, the studio’s partnership with the MLF – now in its second year since first teaming up in July 2023 – will have you immersing yourself in live events in the real (reel?) world all while competing in in-game challenges across iconic and well-loved American waters.

This time around, Fishing Clash’s latest collaboration will run alongside the MLF B&W Trailer Hitches Heavy Hitters all-star event from May 15th to the 23rd. While anglers go head-to-head at Smith Mountain Lake in Franklin County, Virginia for a $100,000 top prize, you too can get in on the virtual action in-game at the Toledo Bend Reservoir. All you have to do is clear event challenges and you might just snag a ticket to qualify for the Grand Finale. This will kick off in August, and with pearls, vanity items, MLF-themed vanities, and other goodies up for grabs. 

This continues the streak from the Redcrest 2025 circuit last month at Lake Guntersville, Alabama, where Fishing Clash fans also experienced an in-game event that ran parallel from March 31st to April 7th at the virtual Lake Guntersville fishery. Leaderboard competitions offered MLF branded goodies as a reward – something you’d definitely expect given the studio is the official title sponsor of the Angler of the Year (AOY) awards.

By the way, if you happen to snag a spot in the top five in the Grand Finale, you get to bring home exclusive MLF-branded prize packs for the ultimate bragging rights. Those autographed MLF Angler Jerseys and Bubba Sculpin Fishing Knives will definitely come in handy!
