2 DLC, the classic RTS seems to be mounting a comeback. Similarly, the boomer shooter trend is alive and well, maintaining the spirit of the '90s shooters that solidified PC's status as a platform. And now, seemingly, the erstwhile point-and-click genre is returning from the grave. Riven has been remastered. Likewise the original Broken Sword, and Amerzone The Explorer's Legacy. Even Myst has recently been enhanced and expanded. But there's more to come. Another game from Benoit Sakal, the writer and creator of Amerzone, is about to get a full remaster. 23 years after it was originally released, Syberia is back.
