At least 20 homes damaged by tornadoes in eastern Colorado

DENVER (KDVR) — Severe weather hit across Colorado on Sunday, May 18, with tornadoes touching down across the northeastern plains.

As of mid-afternoon, several tornado warnings and watches had been reported across the eastern plains, with tornadoes confirmed to have touched down near Bennett and Parker, with Adams County officials reporting at least 10 homes or buildings damaged or lost to the storm, and Elizabeth Fire Protection District reporting 19 homes with minor to severe damage in its area.
