with GamesIndustry.biz, the toy company’s Head of Digital Product Development, Dan Ayoub, spoke about how the massive company already has four AAA studios. This happened after the toy company profited from the deal between its subsidiary and Larian after Baldur’s Gate 3‘s release.

The four studios, Atomic Arcade, Invoke Studios, Skeleton Key, and Archetype, are all actively working on new video games. The most notable among all four studios is that their leadership comprises industry veterans.

Talking about Atomic Arcade, Ayoub revealed that the studio’s leadership worked on Arkham Asylum, which is one of the most popular superhero video games of all time, that is still inspiring titles.

Now, the studio is working on a video game set in the world of G.I. Joe. The game will focus on Snake Eyes, one of the most distinguished characters from the franchise, and the game is intended to do for the character what the Arkhamverse did for the Caped Crusader.

After Baldur’s Gate 3‘s success, Atomic Arcade wants to ensure that Snake Eyes is treated to a game similar to Arkham Asylum.

The poor reception of ******** Squad ***** the Justice League, developed by Rocksteady, left a lot of lessons in the open for the game to absorb. Combining that with the studio’s leadership might just be what the game needs to succeed.

Snake Eyes has always been the standout character for anyone familiar with G.I. Joe. Moreover, he has much in common with the Dark Knight in approaching his enemies and accomplishing his missions.

Both these characters are sharp, methodical, and analytical. Moreover, they also possess the ability to outsmart their opponents. They possess the ability to take a stealthy approach while also having the ability to take their foes head-on.
