The ****** occurred on U.S. Route 67 near 185th Avenue at approximately 2:32 p.m., according to preliminary information from the Illinois State Police.

State troopers initially responded to a report of a deadly ****** involving a car and a tractor-trailer. Imam was the driver of the car.

The northbound lane of Route 67 was closed while troopers investigated the ******. The route was reopened at 8:49 p.m.
