Rescue helicopter on way to boat ****** incident near Jurien Bay, reports of two people in the water

A rescue helicopter is on the way to an emergency boating accident near Jurien Bay, with reports of multiple people overboard.

First responders turned out to reports of a “water ****** incident” that involved a capsized vessel and numerous injuries at Escape Island about 2pm on Saturday.

The Department of Emergency Services dispatched the RAC Rescue Helicopter a short time later.

WA Police are also responding, with a spokesperson telling The West *********** officers had received reports of an “overdue vessel.”

The West *********** understands at least two people are in the water.

St John WA is also in attendance.
