, which confirms that Stellar Blade will not be available for purchase or gifting on Steam in more than a hundred countries. Players living in countries like Bangladesh, Algeria, Kenya, and many more will unfortunately, not be able to play the upcoming release.

Shift Up shared the trailer for the PC release on social media, but the devs were soon flooded with screenshots from players showing the game wasn’t available in their region, which shocked them. Concerns about requiring a PlayStation Network account were also debunked, as they clarified that the game on PC will not require a PSN account.

Everyone knows how Sony tried to force a PSN account connection with the PC release of Helldivers 2, and Stellar Blade’s case seems suspiciously similar.

Stellar Blade’s PC version has already been confirmed to not require a PSN account by the devs themselves, but some players have theorised that an outfit being added to the PC version of the game can be unlocked only by linking Steam and PSN accounts, which is potentially the cause behind the block.

Pair that with the fact that PSN isn’t available in any of the countries affected, and you get another good reason to blame Sony for their terrible decisions. Once again, the company is seemingly the main culprit behind the game being unavailable in over a hundred countries and what’s ironic is that Shift Up themselves are unaware about it.

You’d think that when problems like this pop up, Sony would have the courtesy to at least let the developers know to make the players aware of it. Hopefully, will they listen to the community and eventually reverse this decision if this is the case. Just make the outfit available for free, and it’s all good.
