Seriously, New Vegas is the pinnacle of the Fallout franchise. Its ability to capture the essence of the original games while still developing upon Fallout 3 was unbelievable. It’s been more than a decade since the title was released, and now, the desire for a remake is growing strong.

However, one gamer is tired of Howard’s lack of action on the community’s demand, and has given New Vegas an Unreal Engine 5 treatment themself.

Seriously, we’ve seen players creating tons of different mods, and even full-blown expansions for the post-apocalyptic franchise. However, YouTuber TeaserPlay has taken things to the next level by creating a New Vegas remake concept. As you’d expect from a remake, it gives the original Mojave Wasteland a massive visual overhaul with Unreal Engine 5. All locations have been given a photorealistic look, and even the deadly post-apocalyptic creatures have been enhanced.

The concept just doesn’t enhance what Bethesda has already crafted. You can have a giant spider running in the trailer, something that wasn’t originally a part of the game, but it fits right in there. So, it’s not really shocking that the remake idea has exploded on

It’s crystal clear that fans are desperate for Bethesda to give New Vegas the remake treatment. As we’ve already seen with Oblivion Remastered and the concept above, Unreal Engine 5 can take New Vegas to new heights. Considering that Fallout Season 2 is also inbound, it would be a great way to introduce the newer generation of fans to the gaming side of things.

It’s not just a New Vegas remake that fans have always dreamt of. In the past couple of years, fans have also called for a remake of the original Fallout 1 and 2. These titles are quite old, but they played a massive role in the establishment of the modern RPG genre.

It’s long been suspected that the reason Bethesda hasn’t touched these games is that it can’t access their source codes. If you’re unaware, Howard and his team didn’t make the first two Fallout games, as they were Interplay Production’s work.

Recently, Tim Cain, the co-creator of the post-apocalyptic franchise, stated that the source codes for the original Fallout games were lost as Interplay Productions instructed him to destroy them due to a company policy.
