, many players have been disappointed that there will likely be no more major updates to the current content in the game, especially when so much has been removed from the original concept. Several plotlines have been cut short, and some explorable areas like Avernus and the Upper City never saw the light of day. Larian being able to focus on refining BG3's story instead of convoluting it with unnecessary filler was great for the overall quality of the game, but it's still interesting to think about how different it could've been.
