Emma Frost was added to the game as part of the season 2 update and quickly became a fan favorite. However, players have realized over the past few weeks that it is difficult to fight Emma Frost because of her overpowered abilities.

The spotlight is on her Diamond Form ability, which shifts her primary attack to melee attacks that inflict a lot of damage. Creating space between the hero and hitting her with long-range attacks is currently the only way to counter her ability. Many are hoping that she will get a nerf in the season 2.5 update, when Ultron finally joins the game.

A balanced experience is necessary for NetEase right now, primarily because Marvel Rivals has been losing its player base at an alarming rate.
