According to the leaker, the game is now in full production, with the proof being that Halo Studios stated that it would increase its hiring process as its projects move ahead into the development cycle. Rebs Gaming has pointed out several hiring waves by the developer in recent months.

Well, if you’re all hyped up about returning to the glory days of Halo, there’s going to be a long wait. As Rebs Gaming has stated, the title has just entered full-scale production. This means that the game is still years away from hitting the shelves, and could be a next-gen Xbox game.

What might surprise you is that there’s also a Halo multiplayer game on the cards. Codenamed Ekur, Rebs Gaming believes that the title has been in development for years now, and testing servers for it were crafted all the way back in June 2024.
