, is researching the environment and scanning the various plants, creatures, debris, etc. Once you reach the planet Xephyr, however, you'll be given the "Best Served Cold" quest to help Martin Tweed from Kindred Aerospace dig up dirt on Alta. You'll unlock this quest pretty much immediately after traveling to Xephyr for the first time, and Tweed will contact you automatically through your drone.
