second expansion for Destiny 2 in 2025 is called Renegades, and it draws heavy inspiration from Star Wars. Characters can be seen holding Star Wars-like blasters and lightsabers, but the story will be true to Destiny's lore and world, and is an official partnership between Bungie and Lucasfilm Games.

Destiny 2: Renegades is scheduled to launch on Dec. 2, 2025 at around 11am CT. Here's a countdown until then:
