In that way, it's a lot like its predecessor, Journey to the Savage Planet, which allowed two players to run through the campaign at the same time. Framed as a clone of player one, the second player would receive all the same upgrades, and can even revive each other when downed. On the whole, multiplayer makes Journey to the Savage Planet a little easier, and a lot more fun, too.
