Frostpunk 2 is in a bit of an odd state. While promising a survival experience that built upon the already solid, frozen foundations of its predecessor, it's struggled to attract the same numbers as its older sibling. As thousands play Frostpunk, the sequel is barely cresting 500 concurrents, with recent reviews landing it in Steam's 'Mixed' category. But there's an entire roadmap of new material set for release in 2025, with the first major update free to play right now. Reworking temperature and adding a brand-new map to Utopia Builder, now's a great time to strap on your snow shoes and try it out.
