2 Most Annoying Heroes in Marvel Rivals Are Getting All New Skins

Skins and cosmetics have been a major point of focus in Marvel Rivals, with the developers pumping out two skins weekly. In addition to that, the skins released together are of different rarities, with some exceptions. While some characters are getting favored, others are getting either just acknowledged or flat-out ignored.

With seasonal events come seasonal cosmetics, and the developers have already started rolling out summer-themed skins, and the first pair is set to release this week. There are no downsides to receiving more skins other than the fact that two of the most annoying heroes in the game are first in line to receive theirs.

Rocket Raccoon and Squirrel Girl are receiving ‘Sunshine’ Skins

The official Marvel Rivals account on X revealed that Rocket Raccoon and Squirrel Girl are the first heroes to receive their summer-themed skins called ‘Sunshine,’ and they will release on May 8 at 7 PM PDT.

It’s currently unknown what rarities these skins belong to and what they will cost, but it’s safe to assume that they will arrive with their own MVP animations, nameplates, emotes, and sprays. They could also arrive with new color options since only a handful of skins have them, and it’s high time they did more.

It’s also highly likely that these skins will be sold together in a separate bundle, a trend that Marvel Rivals has followed with their previous seasonal skins. Once they release, lobbies will be swarming with players wearing them, and hearing Galacta announcing defeat at the end of a match will feel even more frustrating.

Rocket’s healing and amplifier feel great when he’s on your team, even after the nerf, but infuriating when you hear the words “This is real firepower!” Squirrel Girl, on the other hand, is a whole different story altogether, as her nuts are bound to hit regardless of wherever you are and whoever you’re playing with, which makes her an incredibly annoying duelist to go up against.

But overall, the consistent release of skins and their beautiful designs is worthy of admiration, and no other hero shooter is doing it quite like Marvel Rivals. The inclusion of MVP animations, new emotes, and nameplates paired with the visually appealing art style of the game makes every bundle worth its price, with the only varying factor being the rarity of these skins. Although it wouldn’t hurt to give skins to characters who don’t have many in the first place.

Judging from past trends, female heroes will likely get swimsuit skins first before male ones, and it’s exactly for the reason you think.
