Rockstar Releases Yet Another New GTA 6 Trailer

Last week was an absolute nightmare for all gamers out there as it was revealed that Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6) has been hit with a delay. Developer Rockstar Games pushed the title to May 26, 2026, which means players have to wait another whole twelve months to get their hands on the game.

Considering the fact that GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated titles of the decade, and Rockstar hadn’t delivered any update on the game since its first trailer, this delay was quite disappointing. Even if there was a delay, players expected Rockstar to drop another trailer or some in-game screenshots to satisfy their itch.

Fortunately, Rockstar has answered our prayers. That’s right, the developer has surprise dropped a second trailer for GTA 6.

Rockstar Games has finally released a new GTA 6 trailer

No one in their wildest dreams could’ve seen Rockstar dropping a second for GTA 6 just a few days after announcing its delay, but here we are. The brand-new trailer is nearly three minutes long and focuses on one of our protagonists, Jason Duval, who’s living his life while Lucia remains behind bars.

The trailer shows us a day in Jason’s life, showcasing moments like him working on his rooftop, chatting with another character called Brian, robbing a store, exercising on the beach, and getting a beer. Finally, he makes his way to the prison to retrieve Lucia and jump back into a life of crime.

Obviously, the criminal duo attracts the attention of the feds with their actions, which means we’re likely to see some high-stakes development in the storyline. Throughout the trailer, there’s a huge emphasis on the romantic relationship between Lucia and Jason. It’s going to be really interesting to see where this relationship reaches by the end of the game.

That’s not all, though; we get to see more glimpses of several new locations in the Florida-inspired Vice City setting of the title. There are probably tons more hidden details in the brand-new GTA 6 trailer, and considering that the game is a whole year away from hitting the shelves, there’s plenty for fans to keep themselves engaged.

Seriously, Rockstar Games gave us absolutely no bits on GTA 6 for more than 500 days, and suddenly revealed that the title will be delayed until 2026. However, there’s a reason why the developer has decided to take this move with one of its biggest projects to date.

If we don’t get any further delays, GTA 6 will hit shelves 12 years and 8 months after its predecessor’s release in 2013. That’s quite a shocking figure, as Rockstar released the first six entries in the acclaimed franchise in just eleven years.

Developing video games isn’t a simple project anymore, as it’s incredibly time-consuming and expensive in today’s day and age. It’s still unknown what GTA 6 might end up costing, but considering the recent industry trends, there’s a chance that it could end up hitting the $100 mark.
