Four new direct flights from Des Moines airport start soon. See the new routes.

Des Moines International Airport has announced several new flight routes for 2025, bringing the airport’s total number of nonstop destinations to 33, the highest ever offered.

Allegiant Air will offer two brand-new nonstop routes to Jacksonville, Florida and Boston.

American Airlines announced it will reintroduce a nonstop flight to Philadelphia International Airport after a nearly five-year hiatus, and launch a route with daily service to Los Angeles International Airport.

When will Allegiant’s flight to Jacksonville be offered at Des Moines International Airport?

The first Allegiant Air flight from Des Moines International Airport to Jacksonville is scheduled for May 22, 2025. Flights will be offered on Sundays and Thursdays with bookings available until November.

When will Allegiant’s flight to Boston be offered at Des Moines International Airport?

For Boston, the first flight is May 23, 2025. Flights are available on Mondays and Fridays until November.

The first American Airlines flight from Des Moines to Philadelphia is scheduled for June 5, 2025. Flights are available twice a day.
