Coonabarabran: Grandmother arrested after two children found dead in rural NSW home

A grandmother has been arrested after two children were found dead at a home in rural NSW.

Police were called to an address in the town of Coonabarabran, north-west of Sydney, just after 2pm on Monday.

Officers found two children, aged 8 and 10, dead in the home.

A 66-year-old woman, believed to be the children’s grandmother, was also at the house.

She was arrested by police and is assisting them with their inquiries.
