Migrants detained in Texas spell out ‘SOS’ from prison yard after deportation notice

Roughly 31 detainees at the Bluebonnet immigrant detention center in Anson, Texas banded together on April 28 to spell out the letters “SOS” in the dirt yard of the prison. A Reuters drone managed to capture the shocking plea for help while flying overhead. The message comes 10 days after dozens of Venezuelan detainees at the facility were notified that they were subject to deportation as accused members of the infamous Tren de Aragua gang. The US Supreme Court has temporarily blocked their deportations.
