has added another Call of Duty game to the subscription service. Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (the 2022 game) joined the Game Pass catalog, and it includes the full experience covering single-player and multiplayer.

MW2 is the third Call of Duty game that Game Pass subscribers can play via the subscription service. It joins ****** Ops 6 and Modern Warfare 3. The battle royale title Call of Duty: Warzone is a free game that anyone can play–including Game Pass members–though it’s not strictly a Game Pass title.

Modern Warfare 2 is playable on Game Pass via PC and Xbox.

Modern Warfare 2 was developed by Infinity Ward and is a sequel to the 2019 Modern Warfare reboot. Modern Warfare 3, developed by Sledgehammer Games and released in 2023, continued the story.
