Escape From Tarkov PvE has been a place where you can do raids, hunt PMCs, and get loot without having to wipe all your progress. When it was made available as an expansion back in 2024, Battlestate said that EFT's player-versus-environment mode would never force you to reset your character. Now, with the 1.0 and Steam releases on their way, BSG confirms that to reach the conclusion of Escape From Tarkov PvE, you will in fact need to wipe. But it's not forced - and starting from scratch will actually make the completed version of the extraction FPS a lot more enjoyable.
