FragPunk is an incredibly unique take on the tactical shooter genre. The 5v5 combat is immediately reminiscent of Counter-Strike and Valorant, but the characters and their abilities call hero shooters like Overwatch to mind as well. Then you have over 150 Shard Cards you can use to bend any match's rules to your whim, adding another strategic layer to proceedings. Now that the free-to-play FPS has been on Steam for a few days, it's already proving incredibly popular, and beating some of its biggest rivals.
