ADF personnel injured after two army vehicles ****** in Lismore following ex-tropical cyclone Alfred

As many as 22 army personnel deployed to Lismore to help communities affected by ex-tropical cyclone Alfred have been injured after two ADF vehicles crashed.

NSW Ambulance says it received an emergency call just after 5pm local time.

Up to 22 people are reported injured, with 19 ambulance crews sent to the scene.

The ****** happened at Tregeagle Road in Treegeagle, about 9km south-east of Lismore.

The injured patients have been transferred from the scene to Lismore Base Hospital.
