As the one trooper is running the sheriff’s info, suddenly some guy in plain clothes walks up, introduces himself as being with the FBI, and starts questioning the sheriff, who gets nervous when they ask if he has anything ******** in his cruiser.

Sure enough, searching the vehicle they find hydrocodone and the sheriff gets arrested. He eventually surrendered his law enforcement certificate and pled guilty to felony possession, getting a suspended six-year prison sentence.
